Make a planned gift today to build homes for tomorrow

When you give to South County Habitat through your estate or long-term financial plans, you are forging your legacy and ensuring that future generations can secure decent, safe and affordable housing.

Create a Legacy

By naming South County Habitat as a beneficiary of your will, living trust, insurance policy, or retirement plan assets, you help bring hope to future generations of families in need.

You may also find that a gift from these assets has tax advantages that enable you to make a much larger gift to South County Habitat than you could make out of your current income.

Your gift allows you to transform the lives of our hardworking, low-income neighbors and revitalize our under-served neighborhoods for decades to come.

Give to South County Habitat Endowment Fund

Another way to make a gift that will continue to support our mission into the future is to add to the South County Habitat for Humanity Endowment Fund, which is administered by the Rhode Island Foundation.

Your gift to the endowment will provide an income for South County Habitat that will only increase over time, because the Foundation reinvests a portion of the fund’s earnings each year while paying out an income that South County Habitat can use toward building decent affordable homes with South County families.

1990 Legacy Society

Your planned charitable gift will entitle you to membership in our 1990 Legacy Society, which includes special privileges and opportunities along with the satisfaction of knowing that you’ll play a significant role in helping support South County Habitat’s important mission for years to come.

Membership provides the following benefits:

* Your name on our 1990 Legacy Society commemorative plaque
* Invitations to special events
* Recognition in South County Habitat publications and website
* An honored relationship with South County Habitat
