Donate to the ReStore
The South County Habitat for Humanity ReStore accepts donations from builders, businesses and individuals. However, due to limited storage capacity our acceptance guidelines are strict. At times the ReStore may be unable to receive overstocked items.
The ReStore can pick up your donations! ReStore pickups are scheduled Tuesday through Saturday between 8:30 AM and 2 PM, pickup dates and times vary depending on location. Donations may also be dropped off at the ReStore – all donations must be pre-approved. Call the ReStore at 401-213-6716 to donate today!
ReStore donations are tax deductible, and a charitable donation tax receipt will be issued at the time of donation.
You can call for a pickup or drop-off at the ReStore. You can bring your material donations to our ReStore anytime we’re open.

Please note: Donation criteria list is subject to change. Some donations may be declined due to safety concerns, facility limitations or marketability.
Appliances: We accept all new or gently used appliances that are in working condition.
Building Materials; Plywood, full lengths of lumber, sheet rock, shingles, trim, paving stones, countertops, etc. are accepted
Doors: We cannot accept donations of hollow doors; all other doors must be in good condition.
Electrical & Plumbing: Fixtures, parts, wire, plugs, switches, plates and the hardware associated with electrical wiring are accepted. Plumbing fixtures must be clean and in good working condition.
Fans: Ceiling and floor fans must be complete and in working condition
Furniture: We accept most furniture in new or gently used condition, we cannot accept pressed board items. Entertainment centers are a case by case basis.
Kitchen Cabinets: We will accept complete units with drawers, doors, shelves, etc.
Lighting: All light fixtures must be in working condition.
Paint and Wall-coverings: Full containers of paint and stain & full cans of spray paint
Tiles & Floor-coverings: We accept tile, rugs, vinyl, hardwood etc.
Toilets & Vanities: Toilets and vanities in gently used or new condition are accepted.
Tools & Hardware: All hand and power tools in good working condition. Most types of hardware: knobs, hinges, locks, etc. if not rusty or damaged. We accept any quantity of nails, screws, hooks, etc.
Windows & Screens: All types of windows are accepted if glass is intact and the window is less than 20 years old
